F-21: Top 60 points leaders and ties in the Official World Golf Ranking, as of May 19

The native of Colombia qualified for his third consecutive U.S. Open by being among the top 60 points leaders in the Official World Golf Ranking as of May 19. Echavarria collected his first PGA Tour win in the Puerto Rico Open by two strokes over 2018 U.S. Junior Amateur runner-up Akshay Bhatia, and followed up in October by claiming the Zozo Championship. In January, he lost a playoff to Nick Taylor at the Sony Open of Hawaii. Echavarria turned professional in 2017 following a four-year career at the University of Arkansas. He won twice on the PGA Tour Latinoamerica and once on the PGA Tour Latinoamerica Developmental Series.

Final Qualifying: Shot 68-69–137 at Duke University Golf Club, in Durham, N.C., on June 2

The Jacksonville, Fla., resident and Korn Ferry Tour member will make his U.S. Open debut after posting 3-under 137 in the Durham, N.C., qualifier. Blanchet has posted one top 10 in 2025 on the KFT, a share of ninth at the Astara Chile Classic. He also owns two top-5 finishes in 85 Korn Ferry Tour events. Has also competed in 28 PGA Tour Americas events and 10 more on the PGA Tour Canada. He played his collegiate golf at the University of West Florida.

Local Qualifying: Shot 67 at Lochmoor Club, in Grosse Pointe Woods, Mich., on May 12
Final Qualifying: Shot 68-65–133 at Springfield (Ohio) Country Club on June 2

Haefner will make his U.S. Open debut after shooting 7-under-par 133 at the Springfield (Ohio) Country Club final qualifier. He also survived local qualifying at the Lochmoor Club in Michigan. Haefner played four years at Division II Wayne State in suburban Detroit before completing his fifth and final year at Jacksonville University in Florida. A Missouri native who now resides in Bloomfield Hills, Mich., turned pro in 2022 and now competes on the Minor League Golf Tour, where he has posted four victories, including his most recent triumph in February at Sandridge Golf Club in Florida. That was highlighted by an opening-round 64 en route to the two-stroke win. Haefner has a history with the USGA, having twice competed in the U.S. Amateur, including the 2021 championship also held at Oakmont Country Club.
